It’s that time
of year again. I can hardly believe
Thanksgiving is only a few weeks away!
Although the holidays are full of fun festivities, it doesn’t mean that
your active life has to take a detour until the New Year. Although the average person gains weight
during the holidays, it is easier than you think to maintain what you’ve got
and still have fun. The key is to be
mindful of your life goal to live an active lifestyle and fuel yourself with
healthy choices. If 80% of the time
you’re doing this, then you can afford to celebrate 20% of the time.
Post notes,
plan it on paper and remind yourself daily that living in moderation is the
answer to enjoying the stressful holiday season. The best gift you can give this season is in
mindfully staying true to your goals and taking care of yourself first. Because the healthier you are, the more you
can give to others. And that, my fiends,
is what the holidays are all about.
Strap on your shoes and walk or run a Turkey Trot Thanksgiving morning
or create your own in your neighborhood.
It’s the perfect way to start the day and make the holidays a little
more healthy.

this month as I blog about four quick and easy 30-minute fat-burning, calorie
busting workouts and other tips for enjoying your holiday season.
